I'm not receiving the 2FA SMS code on my phone
If you're not receiving the SMS verification code when logging in to your Mobile Message account, try the following steps.
Check your phone's spam or filtered messages
Your phone's messaging app may have automatically moved the verification SMS into a spam or junk folder. This is a common cause of "missing" messages and is easy to overlook.
Check the spam or filtered section of your messaging app — for step-by-step instructions, see Why was my SMS marked as spam on a phone?
Check your mobile reception
Make sure your phone has mobile network reception. If you are in an area with poor signal, or your phone is in aeroplane mode, SMS messages will not be delivered until reception is restored.
Restart your phone and request a new code
Try restarting your phone, then go back to the login page and request a new verification code. This can resolve temporary network or delivery issues.
Still not receiving the code?
If none of the above steps work, you can request a change to the mobile number used for verification. Email us at hello@mobilemessage.com.au from the email address registered on your account, and let us know the new Australian mobile number you'd like to use. We'll update it for you so you can log in again.
