How long will it take for my messages to be delivered?

SMS messages are delivered very quickly in most cases.

As long as the recipient’s phone number is active and the phone has mobile reception, delivery is usually under 5 seconds. If the phone is switched off or out of coverage, delivery will occur once the phone reconnects to the mobile network.

For smaller batches, delivery is almost instant. If you are sending 1,000 messages or fewer, they are typically delivered in under 5 seconds. Even larger campaigns are processed rapidly. As a general guide, 10,000 messages are delivered well under a minute, and 100,000 messages are usually delivered in around 5 minutes.

Our platform uses advanced queueing technology to keep delivery times consistent. If other customers are sending very large batches, urgent or smaller sends are prioritised so they are not delayed. This ensures your messages are delivered as quickly as possible, even during peak periods.
