Low Balance Alerts

Updated today

Low Balance Alerts help you avoid running out of SMS credits unexpectedly. You can configure alerts to notify you when your credit balance is low, either at a specific balance or when most of your credits have been used.

Alerts can be sent by email, SMS, or both.

Where to find Low Balance Alerts

Low Balance Alert settings are located in Settings > Billing.

From this screen, you can choose how and when you want to be notified.

Alert types

You can choose one of two alert types.

Trigger alert at a specific balance

This option sends an alert when your remaining credit balance reaches a number you choose.

This is useful if you know roughly how many credits you need to keep campaigns running and want to top up before reaching that point.

Trigger alert when 90% of balance is used

This option sends an alert once 90% of your purchased credits have been used.

This is a simple, set-and-forget option that works well if your usage varies over time.

Notification methods

You can receive alerts by email, SMS, or both.

Email alerts

Enter the email address where you want to receive low balance notifications.

If you leave this field blank, no email alerts will be sent.

SMS alerts

Enter a mobile number to receive SMS notifications when your balance is low. There is no cost to receive the SMS alert.

If you leave this field blank, no SMS alerts will be sent.

SMS alerts are useful if you want to be notified immediately, even when you are not checking email.

Saving your settings

After choosing your alert type and notification methods, click Save Low Balance Alert Settings to apply the changes.

Your alerts will take effect immediately.

Important notes

  • Low Balance Alerts are notifications only

  • Alerts do not automatically purchase credits for you

  • You can update or disable alerts at any time from Settings > Billing

Low Balance Alerts are designed to give you enough notice to top up credits and keep your messaging running without interruption.
