What if someone calls the dedicated number?

Dedicated numbers on Mobile Message are enabled for SMS only. They cannot receive or forward voice calls, and they cannot receive MMS (image) messages.

What happens if someone calls the number?

If someone tries to call your dedicated number, the call will not connect. There is no voicemail, no ringing, and no notification — the call simply will not go through.

Can I receive MMS (image) messages?

No. Dedicated numbers do not support MMS. If someone sends an image or multimedia message to your dedicated number, it will not be delivered.

What if I need to receive voice calls?

If you need a number that can receive voice calls, you will need to use a separate VoIP (Voice over IP) service. Mobile Message is a dedicated SMS platform and does not offer voice call functionality.
